Seeing a need and focusing on a vision for the Columbia Basin and beyond, David McDaniels and Andy Sorn established Columbia Basin Ice, LLC in 2015. With a combined forty plus years of experience in ice sales, service, manufacturing, distribution and packaging, David and Andy’s partnership is a perfect complimentary match for stability and success in the ice business. Bringing on Tom O’Brien with O’Brien Construction, added yet another layer of expertise to the mix.

Frozen water, a necessary luxury that some might take for granted was very much under serviced in the Tri-Cities and Yakima areas. David and Andy, saw this lack of product and service as the ideal opportunity to setup and establish a state of the art ice manufacturing facility.

David and Andy are excited to continue the growth and success of Columbia Basin Ice, but the focus stays the same… manufacture and provide a high quality product to be proud of, and service the customers and businesses who make it all possible.
